Cannot put monitor into Standby, New ATI Radeon Video Card?

I just installed a new Radeon 9250 card (updated the driver) and tried everything from Power Management, to Display settings and it still says "Please check your video cable" in a blue box when the computer goes into auto Standby after 15 minutes. Any ideas?|||It says that because the video card is not sending a signal when it goes into standby. It is working. You just don't understand what standby does.
