Can i use an radeon video card on a computer with nvidia built in?

Not sure if i asked that right.

Basically, Im buying a partially-assembled computer that has nvidia Gforce integrated video already built in.

Instead of hunting around for a good video card, Would it be possible to use my ATI radeon video card??

Also, I have seen some video cards use DDR2 ram, My new computer will be using DDR3, Will DDR2 video cards still run properly..

Thank you..|||Yes this will work perfectly fine. The reason that this will work is because when you plug in your monitor as long as its plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard, it will the card for display. You will need to install the appropriate drivers though once you get the card hooked up. The type of memory that a video card uses is GDDR memory. This does not have an effect on the memory you put into your motherboard.

Hope that helps,
